NSA MID-SOUTH HOSTS NAVY TEN NAUTICAL MILER

MILLINGTON, Tenn. -- As a mark of how far we've come in a very short time, Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, will be hosting the Navy Ten Nautical Miler on schedule, June 6 at 7 a.m.  This will be the inaugural run a very unique race, the only foot race measured in nautical miles, and will show how quickly the base has recovered from the May 1 flood that left it under an average of four feet of water.

The Navy Ten Nautical Miler is an event officially sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the national governing body for track & field, long distance running, and race walking in the United States. The event is being coordinated in association with the Memphis Runners Track Club. The registration fee is $50.
