Deputies: Repeat offenders busted making meth

Tipton County Sheriff’s deputies say they caught a pair of repeat offenders making meth at a home in the 480 block of Hilltop Ln., in Millington.

Investigators went to the home on Jan. 14 while they were looking into the purchase of unusually large amounts of pseudoephedrine pills. Once they were on the property, deputies say they could smell the pungent odor of the meth lab.

Christopher Ford, 32, and Jennifer Lucas, 24, were found standing near a fire that deputies say was used to make meth. Investigators say they also found meth and ingredients commonly used to make the drug like lye and drain cleaner.

At the time of their arrest, both Ford and Lucas were out on bond for meth charges stemming from a November run-in with the law.

They’re both facing numerous drug charges as a result of the most recent arrests. Ford and Lucas are currently being held without bond in Tipton County.
