Event could help keep lawn green in the shade | Environment

Are you tired of your lawn turning to bare soil under your shade trees?  The Hosta Society of Memphis may have your solution.

To learn more about hostas, you are invited to an event this Thursday, September 20.

There will be a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m., followed by guest speaker Troy B. Marden.  

Troy has been co-host of the Nashville Public Television gardening show "Volunteer Gardener" for 10 years, which is seen here in Memphis on WKNO, Channel 10.  Troy has more than 25 years of gardening experience, including writing for top gardening magazines.
