Winter weather started affecting Tennessee roads in November of last year and TDOT’s arsenal of salt is being used at a faster rate than our supplier can replenish reserves.

Governor Phil Bredesen announced Thursday that an Aeronautics Grant in the amount of $179,100 has been approved for the Millington Regional Jetport.

“From moving people to moving freight, the airports in Tennessee are vital pieces of the state’s overall economy and travel system,” said Bredesen.
